Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be picked up from the airport or railway station. The first stop will be your hotel, where you will fulfil check-in formalities and stretch for a while before finally heading out for the exploration.

  • Qutub Minar

Your first stop will be Qutub Minar, a soaring minaret that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is built in red and buff sandstone and is surrounded by ancient ruins.
  • Lotus Temple

The next stop will be the Lotus Temple. It is a stunning Bahá’í House of Worship, which is shaped like a lotus flower. The temple with its marble petals is open to people of all faiths.
  • Humayun’s Tomb

Another popular site in Delhi is Humayun's tomb. The tomb is a precursor to the Taj Mahal, with beautifully landscaped gardens and Persian-influenced architecture.
  • India Gate / Rashtrapati Bhavan (Drive-by)

You cannot be in Delhi and not visit the iconic India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, even if it is just a drive-by. India Gate is a war memorial, and Rashtrapati Bhavan is the residence of the President of India. Both sites will ripple your patriotic soul.

This will be enough exploration for the day. However, if you still feel energized and want to experience more, you can visit some local markets. Delhi has several markets, each famous for a particular thing.

Day 02 : Old & New Delhi Sightseeing

Day two is also dedicated to exploring more of Delhi, as the city is so big and so diverse that it is impossible to cover in a single day. So, as you wake up on day two, get ready and enjoy a nice breakfast before you finally start the day of exploring and experiencing.

  • Red Fort

Start your second-day exploration at the Red Fort, a grand red sandstone fort that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. It’s a symbol of India’s history and the site of India’s Independence Day celebrations.
  • Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India, which will be your second stop for the day. It is an imposing structure that overlooks Chandni Chowk and offers beautiful views from its minarets.
  • Chandni Chowk

Chandni Chowk is one of the oldest spots in Delhi, which has stood the test of time without losing its charm. The spot is modern in a way that lets you still peek into its history. It is a bustling marketplace in Old Delhi, filled with narrow lanes, street food stalls, shops selling spices, jewellery, and traditional Indian items.
  • Raj Ghat

In the loud and vibrant city of Delhi, there are only a few places that are quiet and calm, Raj Ghat is one of those. It is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and is built on the spot of his cremation. It is a serene spot with a simple black marble platform surrounded by gardens.
  • Akshardham Temple

Visiting the Akshardham temple is the perfect way to wrap up the day. It's a modern Hindu temple complex that is spread over 23 acres. The temple is known for its stunning architecture, exhibitions, and peaceful ambience.

Day 03 : Delhi To Agra Transfer and Sightseeing

As you wake up in Delhi on day three, quickly have your breakfast and check out of your hotel. Today, you will be visiting the second spot in the Golden Triangle, Agra. The city is iconic, with several historical sites, a rich history, and amazing food.

  • Agra Fort

The first place to visit in Agra is the Agra Fort. It is a massive red sandstone fort; this was the seat of Mughal power. The fort complex includes palaces, mosques, and breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts.
  • Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj)

The next sight to visit is the Itmad-ud-Daulah. It is also known as the “Baby Taj” for its intricate inlay work and delicate architecture. It is a beautiful marble tomb.
  • Moti Masjid

The final stop of the day will be the Moti Masjid, also known as the Pearl Mosque. It’s a small, elegant mosque inside Agra Fort, made of white marble.

Day 04 : Agra To Jaipur (via Fatehpur Sikri)

While the Taj is beautiful at all times from all angles, there is something surreal about a sunrise at the Taj. Day four will give you the chance to experience this serene site. All you have to do is wake up early and get ready quickly, because if you are even a few moments late, you will miss the best of it.

Once you visit the beautiful monument, it will be time to start your journey to the next destination of the trip. The third golden dot making the triangle, Jaipur. What makes this even better is that you will even do some en route exploration before you actually reach Jaipur.

Take a stop at the beautiful city of Fatehpur Sikri. The city was once the Mughal capital, but is now a ghost city. It has well-preserved palaces, courtyards, and the impressive Buland Darwaza gate, reflecting Mughal architectural brilliance.

Day 05 : Jaipur Sightseeing

Jaipur is also called the Paris of India, and even a single day in the city will explain why. While the city does not have a grand gesture of love, it silently weaves stories of unshakeable bonds that bloom slowly, gradually, but beautifully. The air here does have an intoxicating scent.

  • Amer Fort

Visit Amer Fort, a majestic hill fort with ramparts, gates, and a palace within. You can also take an elephant or jeep ride to reach the fort. This adds to the overall royal, photogenic vibe.
  • Jal Mahal

The next spot is Jal Mahal, a palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The palace is every cent elegant, partly submerged, and best viewed at sunset or from the shore.
  • Hawa Mahal

In Jaipur, you can't miss out on the Hawa Mahal. Also known as the “Palace of Winds,” this five-story pink sandstone palace features a unique façade with hundreds of small windows that resemble a honeycomb.
  • City Palace

The city palace also deserves a visit. It is a sprawling complex with courtyards, gardens, and museums that blends Rajput and Mughal architecture and showcases Jaipur’s royal heritage.
  • Albert Hall Museum

Albert Hall Museum is Jaipur's oldest museum, housed in a grand building that displays a rich collection of paintings, carpets, ivory, stone works, and sculptures.
  • Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory that was built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site and has huge instruments that calculate time and track celestial bodies.
  • Local Bazaars

It will be one of the biggest mistakes of your life if you visit Jaipur without visiting the local markets like Johari, Nehru, Bapu, and Chandpole Bazaars. Even these bazaars are well planned, with each market dedicated to a specific item, such as jewellery, clothes, or spices.

Day 06 : Jaipur to Amritsar Transfer

Day six of the trip will be busy as you travel from Jaipur to Amritsar. The drive will take a while, but the silent, beautiful road will make up for it. As you finally reach Amritsar, check into your hotel and rest for a while. Once you feel fresh, move out and start exploring the city. The best thing to do today will be to visit the Wagah Border to witness the famous Beating Retreat Ceremony between Indian and Pakistani soldiers.

Day 07 : Amritsar Sightseeing

Day seven will be fully dedicated to exploring the beauty of Amritsar. This beautiful city has so much to offer, so remember to have a solid breakfast and wear your comfortable shoes.

  • Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib)

Start your day by seeking blessings at the Golden Temple, the Harmandir Sahib. It is the holiest shrine in Sikhism, built around a sacred man-made pool. The temple has a golden dome, a peaceful sarovar (water tank), and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Sikh Museum & Ramgarhia Bunga

The next stop will be the Sikh Museum & Ramgarhia Bunga. The museum showcases Sikh history and heritage, while the Ramgarhia Bunga (fortified tower) offers an architectural highlight and historical context.
  • Jallianwala Bagh

Jallianwala Bagh holds many emotions; sacrifice and patriotism are at the top of that list. It is a memorial garden marking the site of the 1919 massacre, with preserved bullet marks.
  • Amritsari Cuisine

Punjab is known for many things, but its food and cuisine are at the top of the list. There is nothing quite like Punjabi food. And therefore, experiencing local Punjabi dishes like kulcha, desi ghee dishes, sarson da saag, and more is an absolute must

Day 08 : Amritsar To Delhi for Departure

As you wake up in your hotel on day eight, it will be time to start packing your bags. Today will be the last day of your trip. So right after breakfast, check out of your hotel. If time allows, you can explore some of Amritsar’s old and new markets. You can shop for handicrafts, Pashminas, carpets, and Phulkari textiles there.
