  • Qutub Minar

Start your exploration with a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Qutub Minar. It is a 73-metre-tall minaret which was built in the 12th century by Qutb-ud-Din Aibak. The minaret is built in red sandstone with carvings and verses from the Quran, showcasing a beautiful blend of Indo-Islamic architecture.
  • Lotus Temple

The second spot for the day is very different from the first one, but definitely equally beautiful. It is the famous lotus temple, which is shaped like a blooming lotus. It is the Bahá'í House of Worship and is a symbol of peace and unity. The temple is built entirely of white marble, and it invites people of all faiths to meditate and reflect in silence.
  • Humayun’s Tomb

Moving on, your next spot for the day will be Humayun's Tomb. The tomb was commissioned by Empress Bega Begum in 1569, with a symmetrical design and intricate inlay work that makes it a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. The architecture of the tomb later inspired the Taj Mahal. It is built in red sandstone and marble.
  • India Gate

Built in the memory of the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation, India Gate is a 42-metre-tall war memorial honouring Indian soldiers who died in World War I. It is located at Rajpath and is surrounded by lush lawns that add to its beauty. Beneath it is the Amar Jawan Jyoti flame, which symbolises eternal respect for the brave martyrs.
  • Rashtrapati Bhavan

What was once the Viceroy’s House is now India's Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. The bhawan is spread across 320 acres of land and features classical and Indian architectural styles, including grand columns, domes, and Mughal Gardens.
  • Jama Masjid

Jama Masjid is India’s largest mosque and is capable of holding 25,000 worshippers. It was built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century with a striking red sandstone and marble façade. The structure has a vast courtyard, and three grand domes represent architectural excellence.
  • Chandni Chowk

A trip to Delhi can never be completed without a shopping spree at the famous Chandni Chowk. It is one of Delhi’s oldest and busiest markets, with narrow lanes buzzing with spice shops, jewellers, and eateries like Paranthe Wali Gali. The market was established by Mughal princess Jahanara and has been a hub for trade, culture, and street trade for centuries.

Day 02 : Agra Transfer & City Sightseeing

Day two will be exciting as you move from the first golden dot of the triangle, Delhi, to the next, Agra.

  • Akshardham Temple

Before you start moving towards the city of eternal love, Agra, you must visit the last spot on your Delhi itinerary, the Akshardham temple. It is a modern architectural marvel that showcases India’s ancient culture through detailed carvings, sculptures, and exhibitions. The temple is dedicated to Swaminarayan, and is built entirely from pink sandstone and white marble.
  • Agra Fort

As you reach Agra on day two, the obvious choice is to visit the famous Agra Fort. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a massive red sandstone fortress built by Akbar in 1565. Inside the fort, there are several marvellous sections like Jahangir Mahal and Khas Mahal.
  • Itmad-ud-Daula

In Agra, your next stop should be Itmad-ud-Daula. It is India’s first tomb made entirely of white marble and is also known as the Baby Taj. It was commissioned by Nur Jahan for her father and features intricate pietra dura inlay work and delicate lattice screens.
  • Moti Masjid

Literally translating to the Pearl Mosque, Moti Masjid lies within Agra Fort and was built by Shah Jahan. The masjid was crafted from pure white marble, and to this day, it radiates serenity and grace. The structure of the masjid has a simplicity that also reflects in its perfect symmetry and pristine structure.
  • Agra Local Markets

Agra is not only famous for its beautiful architecture but also for its art culture and, of course, its mouthwatering food, especially the street food. Therefore, no trip to Agra can ever be completed without visiting the local Agra markets like Sadar Bazaar and Kinari Bazaar.

Day 03 : Sightseeing in Agra & Jaipur Transfer

Day three is the love-struck day of the trip as you visit one of the seven wonders of the world, the beautiful Taj Mahal, before you finally leave for Jaipur, visiting more places en route.

  • Taj Mahal

Start your day early with a romantic, beautiful vibe as you visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Shah Jahan built the wonder in memory of his wife, Mumtaz. It is a white marble mausoleum famous for its symmetry, calligraphy, and shimmering reflections at sunrise.
  • Mehtab Bagh

The Taj Mahal is such a wonder that it is not only appreciated from near but also from far. One such spot is the Mehtab Bagh. The bagh is located across the Yamuna River and offers the perfect view of the Taj Mahal, especially at sunset. It is a charbagh-style garden, which was designed to align perfectly with the monument, serving as a romantic and serene spot.
  • Fatehpur Sikri

After leaving Agra and reaching the third golden dot on the triangle, Jaipur, you must visit Fatehpur Sikri, the UNESCO-listed ghost city. The city was built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century as his capital with several key structures like Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and Jama Masjid. The city was eventually abandoned due to water scarcity; however, it remains beautifully preserved and historically captivating.
  • Abhaneri (Chand Baori)

Another must-visit en route destination is the Chand Baori in Abhaneri. It is one of the deepest and largest stepwells in the world, built over a thousand years ago. It has 3,500 perfectly symmetrical steps, forming a geometric wonder. The structure was originally used to collect rainwater, but now stands as a breathtaking example of ancient Indian engineering.

Day 04 : Jaipur Sightseeing & Departure

As you start to explore your final destination of the trip, you won't know where to start or where to end. The Pink City has so much to offer that the whole day will go by even before you realise it.

  • Amer Fort

The obvious starting point for Jaipur exploration should be the Amer Fort. Raja Man Singh commissioned the fort in the 16th century. Its architecture combines Rajput and Mughal styles with designs like ornate courtyards, mirror-work halls, and scenic views. While there is much to explore in the fort, the key highlights include the Sheesh Mahal and Ganesh Pol Gate.
  • Jal Mahal

A few kilometres from the fort is the famous Jal Mahal. Meaning the “Water Palace” in English, the fort seems to be floating gracefully in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The mahal was built as a royal retreat and showcases Rajput architecture with a touch of Mughal influence.
  • Hawa Mahal

After the water palace of Jaipur, the next destination is the Palace of Winds. Hawa Mahal is an architectural masterpiece, as it's the tallest building in the world without any foundation. The mahal was built in 1799 for royal ladies to observe street processions unseen through the famous 953 lattice windows, beautifully constructed in a honeycomb structure.
  • City Palace

City Palace is a true epitome of how three different styles, Rajput, Mughal, and European, can blend beautifully to make a masterpiece. The palace is in the heart of Jaipur and houses grand courtyards, gardens, and museums displaying royal attire, weapons, and artefacts.
  • Albert Hall Museum

Another significant stop should be the Albert Hall, as, just like the City Palace, the museum beautifully showcases the regal history of royal life. The museum was inspired by London’s Victoria and Albert Museum and was built in the Indo-Saracenic style. It is Rajasthan’s oldest museum and features a vast collection of paintings, sculptures, coins, and Egyptian mummies.
  • Jantar Mantar

One of the most fascinating structures in Jaipur is its UNESCO World Heritage Site, Jantar Mantar. It is an astronomical observatory that Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built. It contains the world’s largest stone sundial and numerous instruments that were used to measure time and celestial movements with astonishing accuracy even centuries ago.
  • Jaipur Bazaars

The city of Jaipur encapsulates the colourful and vibrant essence of Rajasthan. The same is evident in the narrow lanes and wide chowks of some of the most famous bazaars of the city.
