Jagdish Temple
Begin your Udaipur local sightseeing tour by seeking blessings at the Jagdish Temple. Dedicated to the guardian of the universe, Lord Vishnu, the temple is situated in the City Palace Complex. The main entrance of the temple is in the Bara Pol of the City Palace, from where you can admire its Indo-Aryan architecture. The temple was constructed in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh, the Maharaja of Udaipur at the time. To reach the main compound of the temple, you will have to climb a short flight up. The gateway of lord Vishnu is guarded by a brass Garuda; entering which will lead you to the four-armed black marble shrine of the lord.
City Palace

Situated at the banks of Lake Pichola, the palace is a splendid beauty, constructed in 1559 by Maharana Uday Singh. The beautification of the palace continued under the various successors of the maharaja in the years to come, as they made additions to the original structure, creating a beautiful blend of Mahals, courtyards, pavilions, corridors, terraces, rooms, and hanging gardens, as we see it today. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills and a beautiful lake, the palace is a lovely contrast to the natural beauty around it.
Lake Pichola

Lake Pichola might be an artificial lake, but its beauty is one of the most magnificent things you will ever experience in your life. It is not only one of the largest but also the oldest lakes in Rajasthan, offering a tranquil vibe and serene views, not only of its calm waters but also of the majestic Aravali range. You can double the pleasure with a boat ride, and triple it by taking a quick dip (depending on permits) in the lake. However, if you plan to take a dip, be sure to carry extra clothes.
Taj Lake Palace

Sitting right in the middle of Lake Pichola, the palace-turned-hotel appears to be floating on the lake's still water. Fateh Sagar Lake
